CMF by Nothing to launch in India on September 26: All details

Last month, Nothing CEO Carl Pei unveiled the launch of Nothing by CMF, a subsidiary brand. Pei emphasized that the primary focus of this sub-brand will be on creating products with superior design aesthetics while maintaining affordability. The company also revealed plans to launch its first smartwatch as part of its cmf The brand’s offering later this year. Now, London-based consumer technology brand Nothing has announced that it will launch its sub-brand ‘CMF by Nothing’ on September 26, 2023, 14:30 IST.
The company also revealed that CMF Buy Nothing products will be available exclusively online through Flipkart and Myntra and offline through Vijay Sales and select stores.

The company has also announced its first CMF Community Review program, a platform that aims to support emerging content creators and tech enthusiasts. The program will allow selected participants to not only get their hands on the products before the rest of the world, but also be able to create content, share reviews and feedback with the larger community.
Upon successful completion of the program the selected creators will get access to CMF Buy Nothing products, their content will be showcased on the official social media handles of CMF. Applicants can sign up and receive additional information through cmf.tech.

Now a new leak has surfaced online revealing the design and some other details of the upcoming CMF smartwatch and earbuds.
A Telegram account named Alchimist recently shared banners showcasing upcoming products from the Nothings CMF brand. These online banners reveal three upcoming CMF Buy Nothing products: a “Watch Pro” smartwatch, a 65W GaN 3-port USB-C charger, and a pair of noise-canceling earbuds known as the “Buds Pro.” goes.
The Watch Pro represents Nothing’s initial venture into the smartwatch arena. According to the leaked information, this wearable will have a square display with rounded corners and will have an orange colored strap. The absence of visible lugs in the images suggests that the company may be using a proprietary connector or the device may not support interchangeable straps.
More information from the leak indicates that the CMF Watch Pro may feature a 1.96-inch AMOLED display that offers 600 nits of peak brightness and a 50Hz refresh rate. It is expected to give users access to 100 watch faces and support over 100 workout modes. Apart from tracking sleep patterns and stress levels, the smartwatch may also include a heart rate sensor and a SpO2 monitor. The device is rumored to deliver up to 13 days of battery life on a single charge.
In the leaked information, the price of Nothing CMF Watch Pro in the Indian market has been said to be Rs 4,500.
On another note, the Buds Pro earbuds are expected to feature active noise cancellation technology. These true wireless earbuds are expected to offer up to 11 hours of music playback and are equipped with 10mm dynamic audio drivers and three HD microphones. They are also rumored to include anti-wind noise reduction technology. The price of Buds Pro is estimated to be Rs 3,499.
