Samsung Galaxy S23 FE launched with Exynos 2200 chip, upgraded camera and more, price starts at Rs 49,999
Samsung has finally launched its latest Fan Edition smartphone – the Galaxy S23 FE – in India. As the name suggests, it is based on the latest Galaxy S23 series and brings some flagship-grade features to an affordable price bracket.
This includes an advanced 50MP triple rear camera setup, Nightography, better OIS support, Adaptive Refresh Rate and most importantly flagship-like performance.
Samsung has mentioned that they have mainly focused on offering consistent performance, better camera quality and display with the smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy S23FE: Price and availability
Samsung has announced the Galaxy S23FE in three color options – Graphite, Mint and Purple. The handset will be available for purchase from October 5 on Samsung.com and Amazon India website and deliveries will begin from October 7.
The phone comes in two variants – 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and are priced at Rs 59,999 and Rs 64,999 respectively. However, Samsung is offering discounts on the purchase of the phone and it can be purchased for Rs 49,999 and Rs 54,999 respectively after bank cashback, upgrade bonus. Additionally, customers can also get the phone at no-cost EMI for up to 24 months.
Apart from these, customers can purchase the Galaxy S23 FE during the Samsung Live event today (October 4) at noon and get a silicone case worth Rs 2,399.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: features
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is equipped with a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, where the phone can automatically switch between 60Hz and 120Hz depending on the content. The phone also has Vision Booster technology for better outdoor visibility.
Samsung has also updated the camera on the Galaxy S23 FE compared to the previous Galaxy S21FE. The handset now sports a 50MP primary sensor along with a 12MP ultra-wide sensor and an 8MP 3x optical zoom with OIS support.
Samsung has introduced Nitography technology for the first time with its Fan Edition phone. Samsung has also included a Camera Assistant app with the phone to provide better control and customization over the camera.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy S23FE is powered by an Exynos 2200 chip along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is an octa-core chip based on 4nm process. Keeping gaming needs in mind, the Galaxy S23 FE also comes with a larger vapor chamber.
The phone packs a 4500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and runs One UI 5.1 on top of the Android 13 operating system.
