Samsung: Samsung rolls out Always On Display update for Galaxy Z Flip 5

SAMSUNG launched its latest foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, last month. The latest clamshell offering from the South Korea-based tech giant comes with an improved camera and a bigger outer screen. The company has now released an update for its Always On Display.AOD) Application.
The latest version of the app brings some new features to the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and its cover screen. This Samsung app allows users to customize the AOD feature on Galaxy smartphones and tablets with OLED screens.

The company has shared the changelog of the latest update (version 8.3.30.4). According to the changelog, the updated app will not change the clock style for users who access the informational or graphic styles for the AOD on the cover screen, even when roaming is activated.
Samsung mentioned that a bug was causing this problem and it appears that the updated version of the app has fixed it.

The update also improves memory usage during certain actions on the Galaxy Z Flip 5’s cover screen. This feature is designed to improve the fluidity and battery life of the smartphone in the sleep state.
