Elnaz Hajtamiri Abduction Investigation: Arrest warrant issued for Toronto man

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has issued an arrest warrant for a Toronto man wanted in connection with the kidnapping of Elnaz Hajtamiri.

Police say 35-year-old Deshawn Davis has been identified as one of three suspects in photos released Feb. 16 as part of the Ontario woman’s kidnapping investigation.

Investigators are still asking for the public’s help in identifying them another man and woman From the Greater Toronto Area.

Police have also released images of one, possibly two, persons of interest who rented vehicles in Toronto in December 2021.

They say this person(s) is not a suspect in the alleged abduction, but they would like to speak with the individual(s) that may lead to information related to the case.

Hajtamiri has disappeared January 12, 2021after three suspects dragged him from a relative’s home in Wasaga Beach to a white Lexus SUV.

Her ex-boyfriend is subject to a criminal case in connection with his alleged kidnapping.

A $100,000 joint OPP and York Regional Police reward is available to anyone with information on Hajtamiri’s whereabouts.
